I am contemplating the whole "allowing your dreams to come to you" way of thinking, because it seems that our culture is geared for anything but that.
Advertise, advertise - get yourself out there - and when you do - it feels like all the cartoons where the people are zoomed down by hundreds of cars the second they stick their tippy toes into the road. Everyone is "zooming" to get what they want. Who is stopping to see what others are offering?
Do I really want to be a "zooming car" anyway? My spirit is repulsed by the idea, but I feel that I have to fit in.
I love taking a walk when it's dark, stopping to stare at the stars and the moon with wonder. I love magic. Magic doesn't seem to "sell" though. That's kind of a wonderful thing - isn't it? No one has found a way to put a price tag on praying for joy in the moonlight.
I love that. ~h~
