Empty (Michael Jackson Tribute)

I wrote this song between 1994-95. I never knew who it was about, really. It finally found its place, and though so many feel an empty place in their hearts without Michael in our world, I know he is closer than ever, if we only know where to look. He is teaching us. I believe this. :)

I am one with the universe.
I am one with you
When my spirit left my body I was
Instantaneously in perfect peace
I danced and sang a song of thanks
I felt your sorrow
And I cried
I breathed into you my love and said
I am even closer to you now
My passion lives through you -
Those who feel that spark!
It is the timeless spark of universal love
Let the flame leap and dance in your soul
Bringing light and warmth
To the cold and dark places
They need your healing touch
Darkness is ignorance
Darkness is fear
